After days of cold, harsh hiking in the French Pyrenees, descending into a sun drenched poppy field reminds you of how unexpected + magnificent life can be.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking from sketches made on the trip, I describe not only what things looked like, but also how it felt to be there in that moment of respite \u0026amp; reflection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis series represents my lived experience of walking the ancient pilgrimage trails of El Camino de Santiago from France to Spain. While on the Camino, I was able to fill a small sketchbook of impressions and drawings.
