Inspired by the guardian owl family in my neighborhood, this work carries the energy of stillness & wisdom and also personality & presence.

Across centuries and cultures, the owl is one of the most spiritually potent animals.  In ancient Greece, the owl was Athena's companion - symbol of wisdom, clarity of thought, & the ability to perceive what others cannot.

The mushrooms that surround the owl mirror the owl's own gift: an awareness that operates beneath the surface; connecting everything, missing nothing.
