In this collection I focus on the majestic poppy fields of my walk through Spain. After days of cold, harsh hiking in the French Pyrenees, descending into a sun drenched poppy field reminds you of how unexpected + magnificent life can be.
Working from sketches made on the trip, I describe not only what things looked like, but also how it felt to be there in that moment of respite & reflection.
