The vessel is an object both utilitarian and ancient. Made for human interaction and handling, the vessel is a representation of our spirit and our physical form.
These Spirit Bowls are nesting within each other, each with their individual textures, markings + colors. I like to think of them as a representation of each of us: Filled with our individual essence, able to transmit nourishment to ourselves + others. Looking at the stacked bowls in my studio reminds me of the natural order of community; As we hold + support each other our potential for both inspiration and practical functioning unfolds and grows.
